Spring so far.

This pregnant belly mamma needs to sit down for 15 minutes and rest, so why not blog? :)It’s Spring here. It’s so exciting to see the sun and put short sleeves on!!! But warmer weather means outside work. When we can get our mowers working the grass is getting cut and also a bunch of work around the garden needs to be done. All my chillins are out there right now digging out weeds before daddy tills it all up again.

The willow tree is filling out quite nicely and the kids were having a grand time playing in the branches one very windy day last week.

Twink, our favourite cow, has been let out to pasture after being cooped up in the barn for the winter. Isn’t she purdy!?

She is now a happy happy cow and giving a little extra milk. We’ve been making up a lot of milkshakes.

And, of course I didn’t drink a whole pitcher full of milkshake by myself in the span of 30 minutes last night. Why would you ask a thing like that? :{

I’ve also been making lots of whipped cream lately. Our cream is the best. Seriously. It’s pretty much as thick as sour cream when we skim it off the top of our milk. Whip it up and pile it on some gingerbread. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and you’ve got yourself one tasty dessert. :)

Well, that’s all I have time for right now. More news to come another day.

Happy Wednesday!

  1. When we come home this summer, we want to come to Watch the Sky Farm and have Twink milkshakes, ok? And we want to sit outside at the pretty little white table.

  2. What a perfect picture of family life in the country, even including Twink the very pretty cow posing under the pink blossoms :)
    Glad your pregnancy is going well and you are enjoying some yummy drinks and deserts.
